The Asian style Sriracha hot chili sauce is quickly becoming a favorite food condiment around the world. Production of the sauce has some of the plant's neighbors complaining about foul odors emitting from the plant. Sriracha is produced only in Irwindale and is made from California produce. When the founder of Huy Fong Foods, David Tran, immigrated to the U.S. from Viet Nam, he named the company after the ship that carried him over.
